The Course Summary

The course contains two parts. The first part covers public international law rules and mechanisms that affect foreign trade in goods and services, as set forth in the various WTO Agreements treaties (GATT, GATS, AoA, TRIMS, TRIPS) and regional or bilateral treaties (regional integration, trade facilitation).  The second part of the course will cover rules governing the international monetary and financial systems and how they work to ensure liquidity in financial markets, and the stability of the international payments and cross-border financial investment system.
